SUMMARY OF CHANGES TO ASTM E2018-24
REVISED STANDARD GUIDE PROVIDES A BASELINE PROCESS FOR CONDUCTING PROPERTY CONDITION ASSESSMENTS ON COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE PROPERTIES.
Newly revised version of the Standard Guide for Property Condition Assessments (E2018-24) Replaces E2018-15
The E2018-24 PCA guide provides a baseline process for consultants to conduct walk-through surveys and research of commercial properties to identify and communicate deficiencies to a user. The new E2018-24 standard guide includes more than 140 revisions and replaces the E2018-15 guide, which was published in August 2015. Users are encouraged to adopt E2018-24 immediately and can contact Bureau Veritas for implementation assistance.
The ASTM E2018-24 standard is a framework for conducting Property Condition Assessments on commercial real estate properties.

He has been an active member of the Task Groups that have revised the ASTM E2018 PCA Standard Guide and served as Recording Secretary for the ASTM E1527-21 Phase I ESA Standard update. He also serves as Technical Contact for ASTM E3026 on Limited Moisture Assessments; and Task Group Co-chairman of WK86230 for Drone Assessments of Commercial Real Estate.
