BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Traverse City, MI Hampton owned by Good Hospitality needed project management of multiple projects’ interior and exterior renovations.
Interior: 200+ Guest rooms finishes and FF&E, breakfast area, lobby, corridors, walls, and flooring.
Exterior: Added cornice to fourth story, decorative lighting, signage, and paint; added stacked stone to ground floor.

SCOPE OF WORK
Coordination with architects on design deliverables. GC permitting management. Weekly onsite progress meetings with GC and local operations team. Phased construction activity to allow for release of individual floors back to operations for occupancy. Single point of contact, facilitating communication among all stakeholders. Scheduling – flexibility required due to shipping of material from nearby larger city; minimal staging space available for deliveries. Containers used to stage. Receive and prequalify all pay applications and change-orders from GC. Provide client with weekly updates including photos and construction schedules.

BV SOLUTION
Using design documents, we were able to provided value engineering on ADA recommendations for door hinge door hinge systems, saving the client money.
