BUSINESS CHALLENGE
Hilton engaged BV to manage construction of their first international conversion project in Mexico. Client required hospitality experience and a local presence in Mexico. Hotel of 375 rooms; project was to convert 82 units into 74 vacation ownership units and build a sales center.  

SCOPE OF WORK
Developing detailed project plans that are continually updated and used to manage and guide the day-to-day activities. Identifying and defining detailed project tasks, their duration, and dependencies. Accurately judging skills required to perform each task, and the assignment of specific resources. Continuous monitoring for process improvement, value opportunities, and added efficiency. Communications Management in multiple languages. Establishing and exercising quality assurance checkpoints throughout the life of the project. Maintaining safety and best practices during construction.  

BV SOLUTION
BV managed major coordination required throughout the project with extremely limited staging area,being a downtown location along with keeping open guestrooms on floors that are being completed in phases along with adapting to unforeseen issues and providing solutions.  

Project value $7.7MM Scheduled completion for fall, 2020.
